I rented this movie last weekend. I had heard a lot of buzz about this film last fall, so when I decided to rent a bunch of films; I was eager to rent this.

Lars (who is played with Ryan Glosling) is a shy guy who has trouble interacting with others. His brother and sister in law are worried about him being so anti social. But Lars eventually finds the girls of his dreams who helps him open up to everyone…. the only problem is she’s a sex doll that Lars ordered.

It sounds dirty, but Lars really isn’t interested in sex with the doll instead he’s looking for a real, loving relationship with that doll/women. His brother worries about his new relationship with the doll, but eventually he and his wife as well as the entire community in which Lars lives in accepts here.

It’s a really endearing, loving story. It really captures your heart and to see Lars fall in love is really a beautiful thing to watch.
